Which ECA organization best for Pakistani Degrees – WES or ICAS which is suitable for Pakistani Degree holders for Canada Immigration

An IBCC-attested photocopy of your Marks Certificate for the Higher Secondary Certificate / Intermediate Certificate sent to ICAS in an envelope that has been signed and sealed by the IBCC (Inter Board Committee of Chairmen)

Postsecondary – Bachelor’s Degree onwards
HEC-attested photocopies of both the graduation diploma / degree certificate and marks certificates submitted to ICAS in an envelope that has been signed and sealed by the Islamabad office of the HEC (Higher Education Commission) at the time of attestation. ICAS will not accept documents which have been previously attested and packaged by the HEC at a later date.
Important Notes:
- The processing of an application does not begin until ICAS has received all required documents. Incomplete documentation delays the assessment process.
- All documents submitted for a Canadian Immigration Assessment Package become the property of ICAS and will not be returned. Documents issued directly to ICAS by the institution will not be released to the applicant. Do not submit your original documents.
- If the name that appears on your educational documents differs from the name on your application, you must submit a copy of official evidence of change of name.
- If the documents were not originally issued in English or French, ICAS also requires an accurate word-for-word translation of each document. If you submit English documents or translations, you will receive an English-language report. If you submit French-language documents or translations, you will receive a French-language report.
- If you have completed a postgraduate research degree (example: Doctor of Philosophy), you must submit a copy of the title page, table of contents and abstract of your thesis/dissertation. If ICAS cannot verify your thesis on-line, we will contact your university directly for verification.
If you have completed a post secondary (college/university) qualification, secondary school documents are not usually required for assessment.

Conclusions:
ICAS is very slow and takes min. 33-40 weeks of time based on volume of applications for evaluation. Degree going for credential evaluation from ICAS for Canada PR, plan atleast 6 months ahead for credential evaluation from ICAS Canada.
WES Process and Procedures for Pakistani degree holders

WES accepted photocopy in sealed envelope from concern board and IBCC (Inter Board Committee of Chairmen).
They only accept directly courier. Recommended couriers: DHL and FedEx

- Before you send documents, you must complete an application and obtain a reference number.
- Enter your WES reference number on all envelopes and correspondence. WES is not responsible for documents that arrive without a reference number. Documents that arrive in our office without a reference number may encounter processing delays.
- Do not send original documents unless specifically requested by WES. All documentation received becomes the property of WES and cannot be returned.

Conclusions:
WES normally takes about 21 days’ time once your documents are duly received at their office. Post that they upload a soft version of your ECA, which immediately gets reflected under your account and can be easily downloaded. However, the hard copy takes about 14 days or 3–4 days depending upon what delivery method you paid for at the time of fees payment.
